In terms of keyboard it checks all the boxes, in terms of a case it checks all the boxes. Once the iPad is in, it stays in. and if you want to take it out from time to time it will break the case (mine broke the second time i took it out). Beyond that the bracket that holds the case to the keyboard gets loose very quickly, expect 3 months of regular usage and it becomes extremely loose (2 mm gap loose).
It looked good in the store, should have left it there.
This said, it's one of the best in class keyboard i found (not to say it's good, but to say the entire class is terrible).

My son (8 years old) loves his new slim book cover for his iPad mini2. It seems protective and the keyboard works great!

I love the ability to remove the iPad and the case from the keyboard! The only downer is that the plastic sleeve where the iPad slips into the keyboard can easily break. But, the warranty on the product is outstanding!!

It will take anywhere from 3 to 6 months for this problem to begin, it depends how many times (per day) you use your computer. The screen will separate from the bottom. If you are seeing 5 star reviews, they are likely inside of 3 months or "out of the box reviews". Youtube this issue and you will see what I am referring to. The company was pro-active, after returning 3 of these they upgraded me to the newer model.which works really well. ($89.00 vs $139 - trust me, it's worth it)
